| Abstract |
Teacher communities are claimed to contribute to the improvement in the practices of teaching and schooling as well as individual teacher development and the collective capacity schools. How to define, design and support teacher communities is however still unclear. In this expert study, experts -both practitioners and researchers- discussed the design of teacher communities in Dutch secondary education. Implications for online workspaces to facilitate teacher communities are discussed.
