Abstract Included in the special dossier 'Covid-19 and Film Festivals', this review focuses on the impact of the first Covid-19 lockdown on a small-size festival in Turkey, namely the International Labour Film Festival. It discusses the choices made by the organisers and positions the implications thereof within growing concerns over censorship and political freedom in Turkey.
