Volgens veel economen zit de arbeidsmarkt voor ouderen op slot. Een alternatieve interpretatie van de beschikbare cijfers en de economische theorie leidt echter tot de conclusie dat de arbeidsmarkt voor ouderen relatief goed functioneert.
