ACTA-DIRECT Dataset v2

The ACTA - Diagnostic Insights for Radiographic Early-caries with micro-CT (ACTA-DIRECT) dataset version 2 consists of radiological images and annotations of initial proximal caries lesions from 227 extracted dental samples. The dataset focuses exclusively on premolar and molar teeth that are either healthy or exhibit early-stage caries on the proximal surfaces, explicitly excluding teeth that have undergone restorative treatments. For each of the 227 extracted teeth included in the ACTA-DIRECT dataset v2, the following data are provided: 1. Micro-CT Scans: A collection of 227 micro-CT scans in NIfTI (NII) format, capturing detailed internal structures of premolars and molars. 2. Micro-CT Annotations: A set of 227 annotation files corresponding to the micro-CT scans, identifying the presence of initial proximal caries lesions. 3. Radiographs: - Entire Teeth: A dataset of 1135 radiographs, representing five different rotational angles for each of the 227 teeth. - Proximal Sides: A total of 2270 radiographs,
