| Abstract | If I answer my colleague Josef Früchtl’s paper theway I am about to do, it is first of all to honor his genuineattempt to begin a discussion on what lies at the heart of culturalanalysis. I believe the emotions he expresses in his attack aresincere, and I take them seriously. It is also because I believe itis important to position cultural analysis clearly as a practice ofengaging objects - that is, to honor the organizers andparticipants of this workshop in their vision and their work- which lies at the heart of cultural analysis |
