| Abstract |
The Article provides a substantive and critical review of major current themes and the impact on corporations and corporate law. It is argued that exactly because the current themes are of significance for society as a whole, it is important that legal principles should be observed and that society does not give in to the public and political sentiments of the day as the observance of fundamental legal principles and notions is the only way to create a sustainable regulatory framework that can produce long term sustainable results that we are all striving for.
