Abstract This article presents experiences with research-related implementation activities in the field of intercultural communication in palliative health care in the Netherlands. It is argued that sharing research aims with relevant stakeholders, organizing resulting feedback, translating findings into educational programs and other products that suit the needs of policy makers, practitioners and (immigrant) patients will facilitate the implementation process.
