(from the chapter) This first part of this chapter reviews existing literature on associative repetition priming. Contrary to what is argued by most researchers, the authors argue that there is convincing evidence to support the notion that automatic associative repetition priming can be obtained. The second part of the chapter discusses how associative repetition priming can be used as a tool to provide some new insights into some theoretical issues.
