Modern Greek studies in the twenty-first century Virtual Roundtable

What are the challenges of engaging in modern Greek studies in the 21st century? How is modern Greek studies a multidisciplinary field? What methods does it use? And how does it anticipate its future? Kristina Gedgaudaitė (University of Oxford/Princeton University), an early career scholar in the field, is leading a virtual roundtable discussion with six young and promising scholars who share their perspectives on what it means to be working in the field of modern Greek studies today. All participants are part of Rethinking Modern Greek Studies in the 21st Century: A Cultural Analysis Network, established between the Universities of Oxford and Amsterdam and launched after a conference in Oxford in February 2020.
