Abstract Cylinder Seals are iconic objects of the Ancient Near East. In the late Bronze Age Aegean sealing was practice with stamp seals. Nevertheless more than 100 cylinder seals have been found in the Aegean. These objects are used here to discuss value and exoticisms and archaeological approaches to discuss these concepts.
