| Abstract |
Dit jaar is het precies veertig jaar geleden dat Milton Friedman de economische theorie verrijkte met het idee van een natuurlijke werkloosheidsvoet, de 'natural rate of unemployment'. Zo’n jubileum is ook een moment van contemplatie en reflectie en roept de vraag op wat deze werkloosheidshypothese in veertig jaar eigenlijk heeft opgeleverd.
