Abstract Human rights and conflict transformation are two sides of the same coin. Experts in each of these fields should therefore be aware of the other’s approach. This issue of the KOFF Newsletter focuses on what professionals in the fields of human rights and peacebuilding can learn from each other. The focus article looks at the difficulties that could arise when implementing cooperation between the two fields, and shows how compartmentalization can be overcome by a readiness to widen one’s horizons.
