Abstract
An inclusive approach to internationalization of higher education institutions is an important and timely topic. Academic collaborations with institutions in the Global South are growing in numbers and in visibility. There are many academic disciplines involved: engineering, medicine, anthropology, linguistics, ecology. These areas are traditionall engaged in development cooperation but there are other topics, as climate science and gender studies. In this contribution, we report some examples of international collaborations in an underrepresented area: Mathematics. We introduce some actors in international cooperation in mathematics, presenting a sample of their activities.
