Abstract
Let Us Cook was a performance program curated by Mulch-imédia at the Con-certgebouw, Brugge in spring 2025. It was the key outcome of the group’s par-ticipation in the “Curating Diversity” course co-led by meLê yamomo and Irene Revell in autumn 2024 (where the group also constituted itself as Mulch-imédia). This final iteration of “Curating Diversity” happened in the framework of the EU-funded Sounds Now project at Musica Impulscentrum’s residential campus in the forest of Pelt, Belgium, during the OORtreders Festival, following a brief site visit in Brugge. In autumn 2025, the group reconvened to reflect on this work together, and the following is an edited transcript of the conversation touching on the final event, its curatorial process, including the impact of the “forest resi-dency,” successes, and tensions.
