Abstract
The Bródno Sculpture Park in Warsaw, Poland, is al long-term initiated in 2009 in collaboration with the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, artist Paweł Althamer and local authorities. A public space and open-air museum gallery, it exhibits a collection of works by internationally renowned artists, some of which are formally traditional, permanent and material, while others are more conceptual or based on interaction with the local community. Focusing on selected case studies, this paper discusses problems relating to the application of conservation standards and museum procedures to artworks from institutional collection installed in public places.
