Abstract This chapter will bring into discussion a number of ethical salient concerns and problems that we need to consider in argumentation studies. The main purpose of this chapter is to explain different approaches currently taken in this study area as concerns ethics, how we can place these approaches within the larger discussion on ethics in the humanities, and potentially suggest some recommendations embodying ethical principles that could guide our field.
