A discussed study on the Triple Helix with its quantitative analysis method.

With brief introduction to background and progress of Triple-Helix(TH) researches, it is clarified that TH quantitative methodology focuses on the indicator of synergy (T) as reduction of uncertainty that can be shaped among three or more distributions. In the TH model ofuniversity-industry-government (uig), T(uig) measures the cooperation and coordination among university, industry, and government. While negative synergy tends to localization, positive synergy points to globalization. Three casestudies are exhibited, with improving ideas.
