| Abstract |
The model put forward for the neuroanatomical basis of urges-for-action is compelling. The arguments based on meta-analyses of existing neuroimaging data are elegant and convincing. However, I am not convinced by the suggestion that there are conscious urges and urges that remain unaware. In my view, awareness is a defining feature of an urge. |
