Abstract Many-body localization occurs in disordered one-dimensional interacting quantum many-body systems, where emergent conserved quantities make the system behaving as if it is integrable. This dissertation covers a number of explorations on many-body localization. In a broad sense, the focus is on the statistical properties of both the energy levels and the eigenstates of many-body localized systems.
