| Abstract | The present issue of GRANA is devoted to pollen morphology and diversity of the Gnetales in time and space. Three papers address fossil pollen and two papers concern pollen of the extant genus Ephedra. Together, the papers of the issue contribute new information relevant for the understanding of the fossil and evolutionary history of the Gnetales, pollination biology in the group and implications for ephedroid pollen as indicators of palaeoclimate. |
