| Abstract |
In this thesis we investigated and associated several new insights into disease severity in adult asthma. First we identified several clusters of adult-onset asthma and in addition to this we showed that severe disease is mostly associated with persistent eosinophilia and ENT disease. Also we showed that there are several factors that influence disease severity. However, more research is warranted in these patients, especially in identifying the underlying pathofysiology.
