Abstract This study, which is part of a three-part report on Using Copyright to Enhance Access to Information and Creative Content, examines the role that copyright plays in facilitating access to and reuse of public sector information. It briefly describes the laws, national policies and government practices relating to the reutilization of public sector information that are currently in place, or being developed, in seven WIPO Member States: France, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Uganda, United Kingdom and the United States.
