Abstract In this paper the acquisition of Russian verbal aspect by Dutch-Russian bilingual children is discussed. As became clear, imperfectives are mostly not associated with incomplete telic events; and secondary imperfectives are wrongly interpreted as perfectives and less known by bilingual children.
