| Abstract |
We describe the political interest, news consumption, activism and affective polarization among Dutch adolescents. Adolescents show low interest in Dutch politics, but do have specific issue interests; they engage less in traditional forms of news consumption and activism, but more with modern (online) news sources and alternative forms of activism. Finally, they are neither more nor less affectively polarized than adults. |
