De producties van avant-gardecineast Jonas Mekas (1922-2019) werden lange tijd zonder uitzondering als autobiografisch bestempeld, ondanks het troebele verleden van de Litouwse kunstenaar. Luijnenburg leest Peter Delpeuts onderzoek naar Mekas’ verzwegen oorlogservaringen en verkent de grenzen van hun auteur- en kunstenaarschap.
