Description
This Figshare entry contains data and code for "Tracking data as an alternative to resighting data for inferring population ranges"."Linssen_2024_JBiogeo_data.RData" provides the necessary data and one custom function, and can be opened directly into the R environment."Linssen_2024_JBiogeo_metadata.json" contains metadata information on the data tables included in the RData file."Linssen_2024_JBiogeo_script.R" provides the script which can be run, once the data is loaded, to reproduce the results.---"rings.csv", "rings_resightingrate.csv", "tracks.csv" and "tracks_resightingrate" are the .csv versions of the data tables in "Linssen_2024_JBiogeo_data.RData".These files are not needed to run the analysis (as the .RData file already includes them), but they are included to ensure long-term reproducibility across platforms.
