| Abstract | This publication is the outcome of a workshop that brought together scholars and practitioners originally from the Czech Republic, India, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan, many of whom have been living and working in Western Europe, the UK, and the USA for years. What united this diverse group were shared questions, which emerged due to the nature of their work, about how—and by whom—knowledge on Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Northern Eurasia is produced; the ways in which it circulates; and the institutional and political systems that sustain it. |
