| Abstract |
The author presents a number of recent publications in the field of the psychology of religion. The very diverse monographs are categorized as: Introductions, overviews, teaching materials; Psychohistory, especially as applied to the study of the so-called ‘New Testament’; Religious terrorism; Mysticism? Spirituality? The mystery of things?; Psychology of religion in the context of more general themes; ‘Buddhist’ psychology; Surprises. The conclusion is that psychology of religion increasingly resembles a growing market with products of very different quality.
