Description Abstract: These data represent pollen counts from sediment and moss polster samples collected in 2015 along an altitudinal gradient in the Ecuadorian Andes. Moss polsters are collected from vegetation releves for which the composition has been determined following the Braun Blanquet scale. Metadata includes location, altitude and lake depth. Details are described in Hagemans et al, 2019
