| Abstract |
In order to foster financial literacy among students in vocational
schools, we applied a problem-oriented learning approach to be
complemented by concept mapping. In four explorative field studies, we
investigated the potential of complementary concept mapping in different
formats (individual, pairs), and in contrast to summary writing. Our
results show that problem-oriented learning in itself seems to be
sufficient, and that students could not exploit the potential of
additional strategies.
