Faillissement Griekenland haalt euro niet onderuit

Abstract Ook als Griekenland valt, zal de euro overeind blijven. De Griekse schuld zal dan geherstructureerd worden, zoals dat bijvoorbeeld eerder met Mexico is gebeurd. De euro heeft te veel voordelen voor alle lidstaten om de nieuwe munt los te laten, stelt econoom Roel Beetsma. Natuurlijk is het wel belangrijk streng toezicht te houden op het op orde krijgen van de Griekse openbare financiën.
