| Abstract | In the introduction to the forum on visions and practices of development in Central Asia, Artemy M. Kalinovsky and Marianne Kamp propose looking at the history of Central Asia of the past century as part of the global history of development. They introduce the four articles presented in the forum that, together, transcend the historical ruptures of World War II and 1991 and reestablish the historical agency of local actors in the projects of Soviet and post-Soviet development. |
