Social psychology research in the Netherlands in the period 1980 superscript 1988 / Sociaal-psychologisch onderzoek in Nederland in de periode 1980-1988

Studied the professional activities of Dutch social-psychology researchers, and determined the nature and international prominence of their writings. Human subjects: 97 normal Dutch adults (social-psychology researchers). Questionnaires were sent to all members of the Dutch Association of Social-Psychological Researchers. Ss were asked about their professional activities and the nature and topics of their publications in the period 1980-1988. In addition, international social-psychology periodicals were evaluated to determine the proportion of works by Dutch authors among the cited works. 1,447 Dutch publications were analyzed; the citation scores of 246 articles underwent a bibliometric analysis; and authors of articles published in the British Journal of Social Psychology and the European Journal of Social Psychology were analyzed.
