Historical Facebook Platform ‘boundary resources’, 2006–2018

This dataset provides historical information about the ‘boundary resources’ provided to app developers and businesses as part of Facebook Platform (e.g. developers.facebook.com), derived from archived web sources available in the Internet Archive Wayback Machine (archive.org/web/) until November 2018. This information includes: (a) details about each of Facebook’s core API components; (b) details about each of Facebook’s official partner programmes and directories since 2007; (c) details about all of Facebook’s marketing partnership relations since 2009; and (d) (high-resolution) information graphics created from these sources.
