| Abstract | In many economic settings it would be advantageous to have a better knowledge of how the world around us exactly works. This thesis therefore deals with the question how we can increase our knowledge in this respect. In particular, it looks at the issue of optimal experimentation in several different setups and shows that this can be a powerful way to overcome the problems related to various informational imperfections. |
