Abstract In this paper a model of life satisfaction measurement is formulated to calculate happiness interdependencies. The model is applied to estimate the spill-over effects of migraine headache on well-being. It is found that women are more compassionate than men. The results also show that ignoring happiness interdependencies of migraine headache underestimates the effects of migraine headache on well-being.
