Abstract	The aim of the current thesis is to evaluate differences and similarities between schizophrenia patients with or without obsessive compulsive symptoms (OCS). Relevant sub-questions are: Can OCS in patients with schizophrenia be identified as a specific risk for other comorbid characteristics? Is treatment with antipsychotics associated with OCS in patients with schizophrenia? What is the 3-year course of OCS in patients with schizophrenia and are changes in OCS associated with other illness features?
