- In this column, we demonstrate how to assess delayed dynamic relationships using the theory originally developed by Box and Jenkins (1969). To provide an impression of the scope of this method, we demonstrate step by step how to assess the form of the input-output relationship for a relatively complex process. In subsequent columns, we will provide more detailed discussions of dynamic input-output relationships.
