| Abstract | Kinderen met obstipatie worden behandeld met laxeermiddelen en krijgen gedragsadviezen (zoals toilettraining) en voorlichting. Toch houdt een derde van de patiënten tot in de jonge volwassenheid klachten. Marieke van Dijk vergeleek gedragstherapie in combinatie met laxatietherapie met de conventionele behandeling. Daarbij keek ze ook naar kwaliteit van leven, emotionele en gedragsproblemen en de manier van opvoeden van de ouders. Gedragstherapie bleek even succesvol als conventionele therapie. |
