| Abstract |
On 30 June 2007 a female of Coleophora salinella Stainton, 1859 was caught at light in the nature reserve "Hobokense Polder" at Hoboken (Belgium, Province of Antwerpen). This is the first record of this species for the Belgian fauna. The caterpillars mine the leaves of Atriplex and Halimione. The species is bound to salty vegetations.
