UvA Scripties Online complies with the requirements of the Open Archives Initiative so that bibliographical records (metadata) can be harvested from the repository and indexed in a variety of information systems. As a result, metadata about UvA Master's theses can be found in other databases.

What is the difference of UvA Scripties Online with the Catalogue of Master's Theses?

The Catalogue http://cf.uba.uva.nl/en/ only contains bibliographic descriptions of (old) UvA Master's theses submitted in paper and available at faculty libraries. UvA Scripties Online contains the electronic version of the thesis. To search the catalogue, use "Advanced Search", "Assignments and Papers".
