SamenvattingConducted a pilot study on the efficacy of a social-cognitive group intervention program based on social information-processing theory (K. A. Dodge, 1986) for children with a conduct disorder. Human Ss: 16 Dutch school-age children and adolescents (aged 10-13 yrs) (conduct disorder). Ss participated in 11 weekly 70-90-min sessions aimed at decreasing behavior problems in social problem situations, improving social-cognitive skills, increasing self-control, and changing impulsive behavior. To assess the program, teachers were administered the Taxonomy of Problematic Social Situations for Children, parents were administered the Child Behavior Checklist, and Ss were administered the Matson Evaluation of Social Skills with Youngsters (J. L. Matson et al, 1983). (English abstract)
